The Uses of Flowers
1      Flowers are of many uses. They are bright and lively, flowers had been used
2 in many occasions and at home, school or office.
3      One of the most common uses of flowers are for decorations. Malays, long
4 time ago, liked to use flowers on their hair to make them look more prettier and sweet.
5 Flowers are also used at home. It is put into a bouquet and then place it around the house.
6 Without flowers, the house would not look lively.
7      The aged Malays believed that whoever could not get a life partner,
8 had to bath with seven different kinds of flowers, to get one. By doing this, as believed, you
9 will be more beautiful and you will get married a few days later. This belief is no longer
10 practised in modern Singapore.
11      The Chinese uses flowers as a wreath to give as condolence for the death.
12 Flowers can be used for giving presents. If you want to say sorry give roses.
13 For saying 'I love you', you can probably give roses too. Roses are romantic flowers.
14 It is used in candle lit restaurant.
15      There are one thousand and one uses of flowers. You just have to
16 be creative.
