The Use of Flowers
1      Flowers are indeed beautiful. It make us feel calm and unstressful looking
2 at it. It is exotic seeing beautiful, sweet smelling flowers of god's
3 own creation. Flowers also have many uses.
4      Flowers could be used to decorate houses. It makes the house look more
5 lively. It is also cheap and pretty fits every corner of the house.
6 For gardeners, flowers are planted and being looked after until it blooms
7 and bear many other flowers.
8      Artist and art lovers love to draw flowers. Besides colourful, it
9 symbolizes something. An example is Singapore's own national flower, The
10 Vanda Miss Joaqim. Flowers are sometimes used to make collages
11 and wild flowers are even used to decorate borders for picture frames,
12 at the gate door of the house and for experts, it is a great opportunity
13 to arrange flowers beautifully.
14      The best place to see a wide range of flowers and at the same
15 time having a picnic enjoying nature is the Singapore Botanical Gardens. Rare
16 flowers like the frangipanni could also be found. Some flower scent
17 are being made into perfumes, air fresheners and even body
18 soap.
19      I am very dissapointed indeed seeing contractors destroying
20 flower plants and public keep on plucking flowers, leaving
21 it to die. This is a very cruel thing to do. Despite all the fines, they
22 still secretly killed this flowers without reason.
23      I hope the next generation would have the chance to see
24 this flowers. Of all my life, I have been hoping to see the
25 Rafflesia flower but unfortunately, it could not be found in
26 Singapore.
