The Uses OF FLOWERS
1      Flowers. Beautiful and colourful, they are. They can be
2 found almost anywhere around the world. There are different
3 kinds for indoors and outdoors. Usually, girls and women
4 are the ones who love flowers.
5      Flowers with their own different kind of names have many
6 uses. Some people, especially Malay dancers, like to put one or
7 two flowers on their head to make them look more
8 sophisticated or prettier. In fact, it had become like a
9 tradition for them.
10      Other, mostly housewives, love to decorate their houses
11 using flowers. Sometimes fake and sometimes real. They usually
12 think that flowers make their homes look and feel cosy
13 to live in and also attractive. These flowers are kept in
14 vases and put on tables like coffee table or dining table.
15 Nowadays, people use the type of vases which are able to
16 be hung up on the wall. So each time you go to a flower
17 lover's house, you will be like a spinning room.
18 Everywhere you turn, on the wall or other places, there
19 will always be flowers. I guess flowers play an important
20 role in making cozy homes to some people.
21      Flowers are also used as gifts and presents. When
22 people won something or if it was their birthday, they might
23 usually get flowers. These flowers are usually wrapped up in
24 a bouquet nicely. To make it look more attractive, florists
25 will add ribbons. Have you ever got one?
26      Sometimes flowers are used as a source of food for
27 bees. Bees will get nectar from them. I think flowers
28 have many uses for people but mostly people does
29 not pay attention to them until they bought them to decorate
30 their houses. Now, as I am writing, I learnt that I never
31 realised the real uses of flowers until now. So I hope other
32 people know the uses of flowers.
