| The Uses of Flowers | |
There are many uses of flowers. Flowers
can be use for many things. Flowers
can be used for decorations and flowers
can be used for scenting the house.
There are many different types
of flowers. Each type of flowers has its
very own uses. Some are beautiful and
some are not so beautiful. Some of their
scent are fragrant and some are
smelly like the Rafflesia. Frangipani,
a white coloured flower, is used for
making wreaths in funerals. Although
the Periwinkle is poisonous, it is very
beautiful and are used to decorate
gardens. Allamanda is another flower which
is poisonous but beautiful. Orchids
are usually used for commercial uses.
Orchids are sold at high prices as they are
very beautiful. Jasmines' scent are collected
and are made into perfumes. Hibiscus
are used by the Malaysian Government
as their national flower. Flowers are
used as a metaphor showing that
a person usually a female is very
beautiful. When there are too many flowers in
one's room, the person may suffocate at night
as flowers like any other plants take in oxygen and
release carbon dioxde at night.
There are many other flowers
and their uses which I cannot describe
due to the lack of time. However, one
can read about flowers in the library.
