Essay - "The Uses of Flowers"
1      There are many uses of flower. It is commonly used as a
2 form of decoration. However, people also buy flowers for it's
3 fragrance. There are various kinds of flowers such as rose, vanda
4 miss joachim, daisy, frangipani, orchid and many others. Men
5 often buy flowers for the girlfriends and wives so as to show their
6 love for them.
7      At home, I have a set of artificial flowers placed on
8 the table. Usually the artificial flowers are more expensive than
9 real flowers as they tend to last longer. My uncle uses
10 a few stalks of rose to furnish the back of his car. In
11 some confectioneries, they used flowers for the finishing of
12 birthday cakes to make it more "lively". Some shops also
13 sell perfumes made from sweet-smelling flowers.
14      Flowers also serve as a form of tourist attraction as
15 different species are found in different parts of the world.
16 The Singapore Botanical Gardens is an example. There are
17 many kinds of flowers imported from different countries.
18 Lastly, men often buy flowers for their spouses so as
19 to show their life. Therefore, there are many uses of
20 flowers.
