The Uses of Flowers
Every garden, forests, homes has it. It is the favourite by decorating and also
lightened up people's mood. It is all about flowers. Beautiful, colourful flowers. As many know
that there are different kinds of flowers from local to wild, edible to non-edible, flowering to
non-flowering and even sweet smelling to very unpleasant smell. Actually, what are they
used for? What are the uses of flowers?
One of the common uses are decorating homes by arranging some plastic flowers
of different kinds in beautiful pots - on the dining room table, along the corridor and
even some in toilets. This enables the house to look more interesting. Thinking about gardens.
People who own a land plant flowers like roses, bougenvilla and orchids around the perimeter
of their house. Not only as a decoration but also create a hobby of loving flowers.
On Valentines's Day, we always see gentlemen giving bouquet of roses to their
love ones as a gentle reminder of loving them, showing passion and sincerity. Most give flowers
for occasions also. Flowers not really need to mean something joyful or happy but also when
we mourn too. We give flowers as a sense of a present to someone who have died.
Garlands are also flowers.
Flowers have a lot of uses. Sometimes we don't even realise that we are
using it. For example we eat lotus flower in mooncakes or some in soups. Maybe it is
already mixed up to know whether it is a flower or not. Some flowers can be eaten and
also used for cooking. Heard about aeromatheraphy. It make use of smells to release
tension, stree from our aching body. Some of the treatments come from flowers like
dried flowers that has a nice, soothing smell. We put around our house or room and also in oils.
Rose oil is to give the body a silky skin and a scented smell. Some flower oils
are mixed with water and heated to give the whole house a unique smell.
There are a lot good uses about flowers. Make good use of them.
