In this course, students will become familiar with the classification of the form and function of the phrases and clauses of English using a traditional model of grammar.
On completion of the course, students will:
1. review of morphology and word classes
3. form and function
5. common errors
6. limitations in the analysis

There is one test (30%), in which students must be able to identify the form and function of all kinds of phrases in basic English sentences, and an examination (70%).
